Fundraising Reports

I keep saying the GOP is going to end up nominating Mitt Romney. Here's another sign that I may just be right. Romney outraised all other Republican candidates.

Most candidates did well. On the Democrats' side, they raised a higher total combined, with Hillary Clinton leading the way, followed by John Edwards. Romney was trailed by Giuliani and McCain.

Here are the totals;

DEMOCRATS;
Hillary Clinton- $26 million (plus $10 million left over from her 2006 Senate Campaign)
Barack Obama- ? To be released soon
John Edwards- $15 million
Bill Richardson- $6 million
Chris Dodd- $5 million (plus $4 million from his Senate campaign)
Joe Biden- $4 million

REPUBLICANS:
Mitt Romney- $23 million
Rudy Giuliani- $15 million
John McCain- $12.5 million

UPDATE: 4/3/07- Barack Obama raised $20 million
