Schumer: Investigate Big Oil

Senator Chuck Schumer (D-New York) wants to investigate Big Oil in an attempt to find out why so many refineries are out and gas prices are soaring to record highs.

I must admit, I'm perhaps the most skeptical person of Big Oil around, but unless Schumer can prove the oil companies are at least partially involved in the price hikes, we've been down this road before, I think the Senate has more important things to worry about...like, passing a bill at some point.

Nevertheless, oversight is good.
