Holding The Troops Hostage

This is the problem when you elect a spoiled rich brat President. He whines and whines and acts selfish until he gets want he wants.

Congress gave him a funding bill; one with a SUGGESTED date for withdrawal. This is not even as fierce and binding as the people want. The people want out.

Yes, I understand the President of the United States is the commander-in-chief, but when the people loose faith in their leadership, they look for new leadership (which is why, I believe, interest in the 2008 presidential race has started so early.) Since the people couldn't throw Bush out in 2006, they threw out his party as a sign to Bush that if they could, they'd send him packing back to Texas.

The Democrats are the new leadership and they have the power of the people behind them. The President has been defeated, faith in him has been lost. It is time for the President to began facing reality. The war in Iraq has been won and the post-war castles in the sky this man has built are unachievable. Stop holding the troops hostage by whining over the bill the Democrats passed, sign the damn thing, get the funding to the troops and then, if you want to, ignore the deadline. What are the Democrats going to do then? Impeach you with less than a year left in your term?
